#drawvember 2016 days 1-10

I drew everyday of October for Inktober and liked it so much and improved, that I chose to continue in November. I continue to draw on a Canson 10.5×15.6cm sketch artbook. I’m not following any prompt this month. Here are the first ten.

Day 1: Coi carp. Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pens in shades of grey (and a bit of water).

Day 2: EVE from Wall-e. Uniball pin pen 0.05 mm, watercolour.

Day 3: Detail of a Bernie Wrightson’s Frankenstein (1983). Uniball pin pen 0.05 mm.

Day 4: Panda eating bamboo. Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pens in shades of grey.

Day 5: Hokusai’s Cuckoo and Azaleas. Uniball pin pen 0.05 mm, watercolour, Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pens in shades of grey.

Day 6: Kawase Hasui’s Miyajima Shrine in snow. Uniball pin pen 0.05 mm, colour pencils.

Day 7: Anna Lee Fisher. Black and white portrait of Anna Lee Fisher, American astronaut, wearing her helmet. Uniball pin pen 0.05 mm, Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pens in shades of grey, waterbrush.

Day 8: Peacock and flowers. Motif adorning a vase at the Musée Guimet in Paris. Uniball pin pen 0.1 mm, watercolour.

Day 9: Girl wearing a yukata. Watercolour.

Day 10: Morning Star. Detail of Alfons Mucha’s Morning Star. PITT artist brush pens in shades of grey.

#inktober 2016 days 26-31

Day 26: box. Ballerina on a music box.

Day 27: creepy. Reproduction in black ink of one of Franquin’s drawing from Les Idées Noires. Umbrella turning into a bat and lifting the man holding it.

Day 28: burn. Black ink reproduction of John Byrne’s Jean Grey and Phoenix.

2020 April update: Apparently John Byrne himself wondered if this was forgery or bad inks?. He determined ‘“Reproducing” my signature, tho, even badly, still makes it a forgery.‘ So I got confirmation I don’t have a future as a forger 😀

Day 29: surprise. Small boy opening a birthday present.

Day 30: wreck. Shipwreck. Black ink and pen.

Day 31: friend. Three friends playing in front of a mammoth statue.
